We are currently looking for community members to take ownership of this project. The second package that we have moved to the community is the stencil-router. We’d like to give a huge shoutout to and who have volunteered to maintain this project and continue its development. The first package that we have moved to the community organization is the stencil-app-starter.
With the start of this Stencil community organization, we are moving two packages to the community org so that folks who want to continue to develop applications in Stencil can do so and take a more active role in its development. We recognize and appreciate that folks may want to continue building applications with Stencil. Looking to this year and beyond, we’re going to focus on Stencil as a compiler for web components and begin to move away from creating full-blown web applications using packages maintained by Ionic. Stencil has historically had a lot of room for experimentation, and in the past we’ve created packages under the Stencil name to keep them out of the core compiler. Let’s take a look at how the community will be set up and how you can get involved. We are so excited to officially announce the creation of the Stencil community Github organization! This community org will be a central place for projects driven by our amazing community of Stencil developers.
